SILVESTRI, BILLETER EARN OVERALL HONORS AT BLOOMINGDALE IN SUPER SENIOR FINALE

BLOOMINGDALE – The 12th edition of the CDGA Super Senior Championship presented by Tour Edge made way to Bloomingdale Golf Club as 84 golfers age 65 and up competed across five flights for a number of prizes from Tour Edge and Bloomingdale Golf Club.

The overall gross honor was claimed by Bob Silvestri of Pottawattomie Country Club while Tom Billeter of Eagle Brook Country Club was tabbed overall net champion. Silvestri, now a two-time winner of the event, carded three birdies on the back nine en route to his victory. Billeter tallied a total of six net birdies, leading to a net overall championship. A gross and net winner from each flight were awarded prizes as well.

A flighted event, the Super Senior Championship is part of the CDGA’s robust slate of Social Competitions, which provide casually competitive playing opportunities for golfers of all skill levels, age and genders.

Championship Information
The CDGA Super Senior Championship presented by Tour Edge debuted in 2013. The flighted event features 18 holes for CDGA members age 65 or older, with an overall gross and net winner being crowned. Joel Patten of Dwight and The Oaks took home the overall gross title in 2023. Aurora's Walter Szweda joined Patten in the winner’s circle at Glenview Park Golf Club with a low-net score of 66.
