ELGIN, Ill. – The 2026 CDGA Four-Person Scramble Championship presented by Jersey Mike’s brought 36 teams to Bowes Creek Country Club on Friday, with players battling across three flights for championship honors. The competition came with plenty of added incentive, as select teams punched their tickets for Stay & Play trips at Geneva National in Lake Geneva, Wis. Participants also competed for a variety of prizes provided by Jersey Mike’s, Bowes Creek, Republic Bank and the CDGA.

The field for the Championship was determined through a series of qualifiers held at six courses throughout the summer: Glenview Park Golf Club, Palatine Hills Golf Course, Fox Bend Golf Course, The Den at Fox Creek, The Highlands of Elgin and Sunset Valley Golf Club. In total, 173 four-person teams competed in the qualifying series, representing 692 players.
A special congratulations to CDGA member Bob Bosack for recording an ace on the Par-3 3rd. With his hole-in-one, Bosack earned $2,500 through the $5,000 Hole-In-One Split the Pot Challenge with the CDGA Foundation.
A flighted and net event, the Four-Person Scramble is part of the CDGA’s slate of Social Competitions, which provide casually competitive playing opportunities for golfers of all skill levels, ages and genders.
