ANNOUNCEMENTS

Your official scorecard will be completed electronically. Bring your smartphone and have the My CDGA app ready to use. Do not open the electronic scoring platform until instructed (specific details provided at your starting tee).

Read through the Social Competitions / Key Information prior to the event. It is the player's responsibility to be familiar with the information provided in this link and comply with all policies set by the CDGA.

FORMAT

Two-Person team format with qualifying teams competing in 18 holes of Net Better Ball. Two competitors play as partners, each playing his or her own ball while using handicap strokes. The lower Net score of the partners is the score for the team on that hole, thus taking the score of the better ball on each hole. It is the player`s responsibility to know the holes at which handicap strokes are to be given or received.

ELIGIBILITY

Teams must have compiled enough points during the qualifying stage to advance to the Championship.

36 Teams - divided into Senior and Super Senior flights.

PRACTICE ROUND

The CDGA does not require the host qualifying site to provide a practice round for contestants. The decision as to whether a practice round will be available is at the discretion of the host site. If a practice round is available, each contestant is responsible to contact the host site and pay for any practice round(s) they wish to play.

GOLF CARTS

Golf Carts are provided to each team courtesy of the CDGA.

CADDIES

Players may bring their own caddies, carry their own bags or use a host club caddie (if available).

PULL CARTS

Are permitted. Players are encouraged to bring their own.

DRIVING RANGE

Practice facilities will be open at 6:30 a.m., courtesy of the CDGA.

STARTING TIMES

Tee times will begin off #1 at 7:30 a.m. in 10 minute intervals.

FOOD SERVICES

Lunch: All players will be provided a Jersey Mike`s box lunch during the round. Heavy appetizers will be available following play.

Prizes from Tullymore Golf Resort, Tour Edge, and the CDGA will be awarded to the top teams in each division.

Net Better Ball: Players will receive 100% of handicap. Should the difference between the team members` indexes (effective seven days prior) exceed 4.4, the extra strokes will be deducted from the higher index.

Senior players (55+) will play from the Green CDGA tees; Super Senior players (65+) will play from the White CDGA tees; Women will play from the Gold CDGA tees.
