ANNOUNCEMENTS
Your official scorecard will be completed electronically. Bring your smartphone and have the Golf Genius app ready to use. The GGID will be given on site the day of the event.

Read through the Championship Polices / Key Information prior to the event. It is the player's responsibility to be familiar with the information provided in this link and comply with all policies set by the CDGA.

ELIGIBILITY
The Championship is open to any amateur who is a current resident of Illinois and has a current handicap not exceeding 7.4. The CDGA reserves the right to approve or reject any entry and extend special invitations.
FORMAT
This is a 72-hole stroke play Championship taking place July 14 - 16. All players will play 18 holes each on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the low 35 players and ties advancing to the final 36 holes on Thursday.
PRIZES
Gift certificates will be awarded to all players who finish in the top 20.
FIELD

STARTING TIMES
Play will begin at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday & Wednesday for the morning wave and at 12 p.m. for the afternoon wave. On Thursday, play will begin at 7 a.m. There will be a 10-minute interval between each group.
YARDAGE BOOK
The CDGA is proud to partner with PuttView to provide complimentary yardage books to all players at each Illinois State and CDGA Championship. Players will receive their yardage book at the registration table.
PRACTICE ROUND
All players are entitled to play one 18-hole practice round on Monday, July 13. Players are required to call the golf shop at (309) 416-0337 in advance to arrange a starting time for the practice round. The first tee time will be at 7:30 a.m. and the last tee time will be 3 p.m., NO EXCEPTIONS.

Players may be paired together. All players will be required to play only one ball and must tee off from designated areas only. Players may use a golf cart during the practice round. The cart fee will be a player expense.

DRIVING RANGE
Please review all practice facility times and notes in the Player Packet, which is available in the Golf Genius portal.
GOLF CARTS
Riding Carts are NOT permitted during the championship for players or caddies. (unless a cart request has been approved by the CDGA for a disability under the ADA).

Spectator Carts are strictly prohibited. Please review your Qualifier Packet, that was emailed to you, with regards to spectator carts and the mandatory spectator cart request form for individuals with disabilities. The disability MUST fall under the ADA and be accompanied by a doctor’s note stating this fact. All forms must be submitted by Monday, July 6 (as stated in the qualifier packet).
CADDIES
Crestwicke CC does not have a caddie program. Players who wish to utilize a caddie should bring their own.

Caddie bibs will be issued to all caddies on the starting tee. Bibs MUST be returned promptly following each round, or the player will be fined a $50 replacement fee.
PULL CARTS
Pull carts are permitted at all events. You are encouraged to bring your own.
FOOD SERVICES
Drinking Water: Players are strongly encouraged to bring their own supply of drinking water to the course. While the CDGA and Crestwicke CC will do their best to keep coolers filled on the course, past experiences have shown that it can be challenging to keep up due to high consumption by non-players. To ensure hydration for all, we recommend that players, caddies, and spectators come equipped with their own water bottles or refillable containers.

Breakfast: Will not be available.

Lunch: 
Monday – available at the halfway house. Players must pay with credit card.
Tuesday – Thursday - provided to players only. Thursday is only for players making the cut. Caddies and spectators may purchase food and beverage at the halfway house with credit card.

Dinner: Will not be available.

REGISTRATION - You are required to register, at the site, prior to your Tuesday tee time. . Registration is located in or near the golf shop. Registration hours are:
Monday, July 13 - 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tuesday, July 14 - 7 a.m. to 1:40 p.m.

PARKING PASS - The parking lot at Crestwicke CC has ample parking. As a result, we will not be issuing parking passes for the 2026 Illinois State Amateur Championship. However, parking is not unlimited. Players, caddies, and spectators should plan to carpool whenever possible.
