Cookies & Other Data Collection Tools. “Data Collection Tools” means technology that collects information about your use of the Services, such as cookies and web beacons.
Online Advertising. The Services use Data Collection Tools to help manage our online advertising program. These Data Collection Technologies are provided by us as well as our ad management partners and other third parties.
In addition, we and our ad management partners may use these Data Collection Tools to track the actions of users of the Services, to measure statistics of our marketing efforts, to deliver advertisements on the Services that may be more relevant to individual consumers and that will improve the consumer experience on the Services, and to deliver advertisements to users of the Services when they visit other third-party sites.
The CDGA and CDGA Foundation have implemented safeguards intended to protect your information from unauthorized access and use. We also require that our agents, contractors and business partners that have access to information in connection with providing services for CDGA and CDGA Foundation protect your information. As noted, the Services may contain links to third-party websites and services, including social media (collectively, “Linked Services”). Linked Services are not under the control of CDGA and CDGA Foundation, and the CDGA and CDGA Foundation are not responsible for Linked Services. Parental involvement in a child’s activities is very important to us. We only collect personal information from children as it pertains to participating in our online activities or programs that the youth have registered for (specifically Youth on Course and/or the Illinois Junior Golf Association). If we learn that a child under 13 who is not participating in our on-line activities or programs that youth have registered for has submitted Personal Information to us, we delete it as soon as possible. If you believe that we have collected Personal Information under such circumstances from a child under 13, please contact us at info@cdga.org.
If you wish to opt-out of the sharing, use, and disclosure of your information, as described in section 3 above, you may do so by emailing us at info@cdga.org or indicating your preference in My CDGA Caddie at CDGA.org. The CDGA and CDGA Foundation will use reasonable efforts to supply you with requested Personal Information and correct any factual inaccuracy or delete your Personal Information from our databases.
